Announcement: Swamp Gravy Alumni Association
The Swamp Gravy Alumni Association was established in 2024, as a non-hierarchical organization whose purpose is to reunite and create build community among cast members who have been involved in Cotton Hall productions from 1992-present. Our first general assembly was held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 4:30 at Cotton Hall Theater, with numerous members of the current cast in attendance, plus incorporators Jennifer Sizemore and William Carroll joining by phone.
Several nominations for group facilitators were put forward at that meeting and immediately afterwards, including Kate Willis Cook and Reagan Bellflower as coordinating directors, Freddie Odom as a co-director (nomination hereby withdrawn), Stephanie Andrews as Financial Coordinator, and James Andrews as Communications Coordinator, with Bridget Edison nominated to help with secretarial duties during meetings. (Will Murdock took initial meeting notes.) Paige Richardson expressed a desire to head a decorating committee for events.
At the suggestion of Mike Stuart, an online form was created Monday morning and posted into the Cast Announcements and Swamp Gravy 25th Anniversary Facebook groups, in case there were additional nominations warranting a failure of consensus and the need for a majority-vote ballot. The nominations were checked and discussed with current Swamp Gravy director Will Murdock at 7PM on October 30; at that time, the results yielded only repeat nominations and there was no need for an election.

Other names were either suggested to assist after the initial process was completed or did not respond to an initial inquiry. These included: a suggestion for Bridget Edison to assist as a secretary, Nan Stuart to assist with communications, and Tammy Lowe and Jana Cobb to assist the directors.
